      1. Saccharomyces -> first eukaryotic genome sequenced
      2. HGP -. completed in 2001. Still number of genes is questionable. (gene predicting programmes fail to find ORF; pseudogenes, alternate splicing)
      3. Within pop seq variation makes the comparative genomics difficult
      4. Fugu -> second sequenced
