5 yrs of hard work; best team; nicely crafted story; effects; creativity; 12 prebooking tickets/second; 3x money back in 3 days, etc., all these prove the ability of Rajamouli. Beyond all these, he has also flagged the south Indian historical culture to the world. Hats off. We, Indians today celebrate this, not just a movie but a brand by itself and a great epic from a South Indian director with Hollywood standards at-par or better.<br />

Now, let's see from an angle, what if a Russian, Chinese or an American sees this movie? Would they appreciate the way we do? Definitely No. Why? Because the movie is crafted with a great story/cinematography /characterization but with lots of Indianized masalas and poor graphics in it.<br />
<br />
For such a beautifully crafted movie, the VFX quality should have been much better (but currently, every jump of Bahubali in action sequence looks artificial). What decides the VFX quality is the money. What decides the money is the distribution. What decides the distribution is the number of audience. Just with 4 languages (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Hindi), his target audience would be restricted to less than 100 crores of people. <br />

If he has added one additional language as "English", the audience would have automatically become 200x more. VFX is the back bone of this movie. வெறும் 350 கோடியில் படமெடுத்தால், அதற்குள் மட்டுமே VFX செலவை கவனிக்க வேண்டியிருக்கும். 9 வருடங்களுக்கு முன் படமாக்க பட்ட Avatar-ன் production budget 2700 கோடி, அதில் 1500 கோடிக்கு மேல் VFX-க்கு மட்டுமே செலவிடப்பட்டது. ஒரு James Camaroon-ஆல், 10 வருடங்களுக்கு முன் இதை செய்ய முடியும் போது, நம் Rajamouli-ஆல் ஏன் செய்ய முடியாது ?<br />
